I bought this to save space and use with my laptop closed. I really wanted to like this item, but the device's restrictive power settings caused me to throw it across the room. A major annoyance was that with prolonged active use, the keyboard would turn off during use, even when fully charged. The auto shut off time when the remote is not in use is too short and as far as I could tell it was impossible to extend it. This made using the remote in BT mode incredibly frustrating as it often wouldn't reconnect after waking up. I liked that it has physical scroll wheels and wish there were more on these devices, but there will always be a lag when scrolling is first triggered. If you don't use the scroll wheel for a few seconds, the delay will return. If this thing didn't shut down so often and the scroll wheel was 100% responsive, this would be a great device.
