Soft, buttons useless, took them off and wear a tank under it. Loosens when washed, love it. Have an older one that is huge now so waiting for the new ones to do the same. I like baggier in the belly tops and this is just that. Prefer them to go down to thighs, doesn't do that yet but will with time. Fabric is fragile, will snag and hole easily. Have 3x and 4x I wear a 3x-5x or between plus size 24 and 30
