Review on John Boos WAL CCB121203 Reversible Chopping by Abby Libbett

Decided to wait a year to write a review because people complained about wood cracking and warping. After my first purchase in October 2020, I read several reviews that recommended applying the oil 7 times (let it dry overnight between each application) and then applying the board cream once. I've been applying Mystery Oil every few months since then. I am very satisfied with the product: it looks great, ages well, shows no noticeable scratches despite how much I use it. Note: When cutting fruits and vegetables wet, I always dry them off after cooking so the water doesn't stagnate. A year later, the block is in great shape! No cracks or deformation. He has his own unique character and I feel like we have a family heirloom.
