I have a YouTube and Facebook channel called OndaWire where I do all sorts of technical reviews. I buy and receive products and then test them for a few weeks and then (based on my experience with the product) share my pros and cons. Let's talk about this ICZIPros:1 8-in-1 USB-C Multiport Adapter right away. For $39.99 it's a STEAL! With everything it offers, it's worth 100% more than what it's sold for! 2. This is a PLUG and PLAY dock, which means no drivers are required. It also means NO hassle with finding drivers, calling tech support, etc. It's great, just plug it in and everything works right out of the box! 3. THIS IS THE BEST FUNCTION FOR ME! I use a MacBook for personal use and then a Dell laptop for work. Now that I'm working from home, I needed a docking station or hub that I could use for both my MacBook and Windows laptop without unplugging all the cables from one device and then every goddamn day, 2-3 Having to connect to another device times a day. THIS IS DEOS EXACTLY THAT! I have a $400 dock that isn't working! WHAT! 4. The HDMI port supports the maximum video resolution of 4K@30Hz, and the VGA port supports the maximum video resolution of 1080P@60Hz. HDMI and VGA can work at the same time to give you two extra displays, but you can only mirror . Using standalone HDMI or VGA, you can extend or mirror the main display.5. This adapter is small and round and is probably the same size as a hockey puck, making it very handy for traveling.6. The GB ethernet port gave me download speeds of almost 1GB. After running a few speed tests I will say that it averages around 860MB when uploading and 33MB when uploading. Where I live, the highest internet offered is 1GB in and 35MB out, and it's consistently very close to those speeds. This dock puts out up to 100w of power and I'm using the latest 2019 16" MacBook Pro and it takes 87w to charge and I've had no issues with this dock. I haven't had any problems with my Dell work laptop either. 8. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 SD card reader and 1 Micro SD card reader, which can transfer data up to 5GB. You can put small items in it and don't have to worry about it because the 3 magnets are very strong. Cons: 1. I wish the HDMI and VGA port could be used together as 2 extra extended monitors. It is at all not a huge minus but still wanted to point this out to people looking for an adapter to display 2 additional monitors alongside their main laptop or computer. Overall, I give this ICZI USB-C 8 in 1 Multiport Adapter a 5***** rating. This docking station is worth every penny! I finally have the ability to easily use my personal MacBook and my Dell work laptop together. Swap a single USB-C cable between devices and it's by far the BEST EVER. I know there are people who would say otherwise about the 5 star rating but what more could you want for $39. If you need an adapter or hub with 5K, 8K, 10K at 120Hz, USB 3.2 and all that stuff, look at $200-$500. Other than that, this 8-1 adapter is perfect and definitely a MUST HAVE adapter, IT WILL NOT disappoint.
