Review on ๐ŸŽฑ Cuetec Bowtie 3-in-1 Billiard Cue Tip Tool for Pool Cue Accessories by Chris Rigsby

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Convenience is everything for cue tips

Not a bad thing in my opinion, the only benefit is you can put it in your pocket when you want to shoot. That being said (for me) sandpaper sliding over curved plastic is still best for controlling, shaping and shaping the tip. There are many of these types of items on the market that I find harder to control and maintain at peak levels, as does this item. Both sharpening and shaping are basically the same, moreover, the sharpening inserts cannot be replaced once they are worn out. Using this for a new tip will require a lot of sanding to get the tip just right. The only real benefit of this tool is that you have to use some force at the end of the needle to pierce the tip. In fact, such tools are American marketing at its finest. I sadly have to admit (on my own behalf) when I started filming over half a century ago that such things were not available. It was just a piece of sandpaper and a little thing called dexterity.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Expensive
