From grilled meat to candy on the stove, we use this simple and versatile thermometer for everything. It's easy to clean if you never close it when it's dirty. Both jacks and kids are trained to just leave it open until washed. There was one that lasted for years and died of abuse. We just bought the exact same one and it works like a charm.
