These are thin damp cloths (5) that can be applied to burns, sore or sore areas. They are small and very wet, so they should not be used under clothing for things like back pain. It should be an exposed area such as hands, arms, legs, knees, feet, etc. They dry out in about 10 minutes, soaking your foot in an Epsom salt pot is my best bet for sore feet. I think you could use it for temporary pain relief as some have pointed out. This seller's page says "Currently Unavailable" but they are listed elsewhere for about $13 for 5 sheets. I'll throw a few in our RV first aid kit. If I ever use it successfully I will update the review.
