Review on SilverStone Technology Fortress Aluminum FTZ01B by Tom Plowman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great, innovative Mini-ITX case

**Pros**Build quality (Damn solid aluminum and steel) Horizontal or vertical orientation Segmented bays to keep hot components out Slim optical drive slot Comes with 3 magnetic mesh filters ** Cons ** Price ($129.99) ** Other Thoughts ** This is a very well built mini-ITX case. I love the fact that the main frame of the case is solid aluminum and uses SilverStone unibody engineering. It comes with a range of accessories such as two fans, 3 fan filters and more. The only complaint I have is that fitting it in was quite difficult as there is literally no room for cable management, but if you are creative enough you can find a few places to fold the extra cable length neatly and can customize. You'll also need to plan ahead, as the PCIE GFX Card Riser adds a whole new piece to the puzzle. Other than that, it's a very good case that I would have liked at a lower price point, but it's definitely one of the most innovative mini-ITX cases out there.
