Review on πŸ”’ Enhanced Stability with BAL 23216 Lock-Arm Stabilizing Bar by Jim Agosta

Good stabilizers

Very easy to install. I used this kit on the back of my 25ft Sundance to stabilize it. I did a shake test after installation and it greatly improved the range of motion. Find a piece of iron 1.5 x 4 C section and cut it into 4 lengths and really I only had to cut a piece of 8 into pieces but oh well I used those two pieces to take the lever calipers off the bushings moving away, it worked fine and the jacks work freely. The reason for this is that I didn't have the other crossbars close enough to fit and had to match the rear crossbar with the jack. The fronts are much easier to install, just find the center of the trailer, move each bracket off center and mark the drill and screw in place. I had the cross member closed so the installation went much faster. One thing is not to tighten the bolts on the bushings if they are for support, just tighten. I use a 3/4" wrench to tighten the set screws and they work great.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Legacy model
