I have no complaints about the screen after assembling it. It offers a nice smooth finish and I like the slim black satin frame. I have an Epson 5050 projector and it looks fantastic with this screen. BUT. I had an issue where I had to reassemble the screen which was frustrating and time consuming. If your screen comes with an included screwdriver, it has what I would call short rubber hairs around the handle. THROW IT OUT and use another screwdriver. The problem is that this screwdriver LEAVES a bunch of those rubber hairs and if they fall off during screen assembly they can get stuck between the front of the frame and the back of the screen. And you probably won't notice until you've finished assembling and hanging the screen, only to notice a series of very visible protrusions around the edge of the screen (as happened in my situation). The only way to remove them is to remove the screen from the frame and find and remove each of those little gummy hairs. SUCH PAIN. Many thanks to Akia for providing the assembly tool. It's a shame that the included screwdriver proved unreliable. Maybe they fixed that problem and the kit now has a better screwdriver. Here are three suggestions to help you with the assembly: 1. Discard the supplied screwdriver and use your own (as described above)2. Use very fine sandpaper (220 grit) to sand the aluminum frame joints where they meet in the center of the face. The ends of the aluminum frame were very sharp, leaving burrs on the metal. Without careful inspection, my screen stock would certainly have snapped when stretched to fit. Use 220 grit sandpaper to chip off the edges and make them mostly smooth.3. Follow step 7 of the instructions BEFORE step 6. In step 6 of the instructions you will attach all the tension springs in place, but in step 7 you will add the rubber caps to the tension rods. THAT IS NOT RIGHT. Step 7 should be the first - if you don't have those rubber caps on the tie rods, once you hook all the springs the sharp edges of the tie rods can tear the screen, as was the case in my situation. Also trying to put rubber caps on the tie rods after installing the springs is impossible, especially if the rods were too short (again in my case).
