I have these for my two dogs. They hold up well but are also comfortable. Dogs are easy to spot when walking through the woods. The material is nice and durable and I can just toss them in the washing machine if they get too dirty. The only drawback, which can also be seen as a plus, is that the chest and neck straps are relatively easy to chew through. I'm listing this as both a plus and minus because both of my children's coats got caught in the undergrowth and gnawed their way out. So it's almost safer; but these belts wear out and are difficult to repair. I just replaced ours because I really like them. Much lighter than other vests we've tried. A note: these sizes are a bit odd. If you have a lab, buy a big one. I bought my pit bull very large and it was baggy. I just tightened the straps to make it work. Unless you have a dog weighing 40 pounds or less, don't buy medium.
