I gave my mother a perm and these rods were horrible to use! It was very difficult to roll them up tightly and then trying to get the stupid connector at the end to hold them in place was next to impossible. And then they would still unfold, and I had to stick new paper on top and try again—again and again! We did a perm following the instructions - but the curl didn't turn out so well - the rods are to blame. Our opinion was that whoever designed these wands never tried them on anyone's hair! What a rip off! What happened to the sticks you just connected? You have done an excellent job over the last few years.
