Review on Portable acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30 W, red by Minoru Furukubo ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

JBL CONNECT is a hell of a pain for the few speaker users! Why? Because now the new versions of the columns do not connect with the old versions. Please JBL fix this in the new firmware version! Why this marketing ploy? Needless to say, it is technically and programmatically impossible to do this! Maybe I have 5 Charge 3 columns at home and I want to connect them all together with the Charge 4 column? What am I supposed to do? Buy now go 5 columns Charge 4 according to you? It's kind of like a marketing ploy. The sound still seems a little crumpled to me, unlike SONY speakers of the SRS-XB 30 . 40 series, etc. With long listening, as he wrote, there is no discomfort and fatigue, which is very good for hearing perception and listening to music in general. I would like to note about the charger which is not included in the kit, by the way, in order to charge the column, you need at least a charger with an output current of about 2 A, which I think is unlikely that many people have at home. Most people at home may have chargers somewhere and most likely with an output current of 750 mA and 1 A approximately, which should affect the charging time, I certainly don’t know about battery wear. By the way, who can compare the charging time from 2 - 2.5 A charging and 1 A and write the results. And I wonder how it will affect battery wear if I charge from 750 mA - 1A charge?

Pros
  • Design. Surround sound. Long listening does not affect hearing in terms of discomfort. Can be used as a portable charger. Powerful battery and good run time. Protection from dust and moisture - take the very thing with you to nature!
Cons
  • The absence of a regular charger in the kit, in the third version it was included. Inability to connect with old versions of speakers. In principle, I don’t see any shortcomings anymore, rather there are wishes to improve the sound quality for the better.
