In general the packaging was good but the velvet brush was not properly attached to the holder. I used to have velvet brushes for cleaning records, and velvet always has a grain direction. So when you clean the record, the velvet fibers come into contact with the grain to better clean the record. The velvet on the holder was set at a 90 degree angle from where it should be. The only way to brush the record against the velvet fibers is to hold the short side of the velvet brush towards the grooves, not the full width of the brush towards the grooves. My windshield washer brush from the 80's had the right velvet grain and I also looked at the Crosley velvet brush at Walmart and it had the right grain direction. Either the faulty manufacturer does not know this important fact. Also, like other reviewers, the cleaning solution bottle was leaking and wet when I received it.
