I mainly use this to mask the taste of my cat's very bitter thyroid pills. This is my second cat who has thyroid problems and refuses to take pills. Chicken and Beef Flavored Meow Mix (which also has Liver and Tuna, tastes so strong they don't know they also take meds. Every cat I've ever had has loved this stuff, even the ones that refuse to something to eat ) but solid food. Now I just use a tablespoon mixed with a crushed tablet and another mixed with lactulose every day for a different cat with a different problem. They eat it and then I give them their regular food after they're done. This works very well. I sometimes use it as a "treat" for others because they love it too. I wouldn't make it the only meal as I think it's mostly tuna, but just a small spoonful a day isn't. does not hurt and I have had many cats in my time and never one that has not eaten it.
