Not a full-fledged preamp, just a sound "buffer ".
Cool looking gadget, makes no difference between a Pioneer amp and a Denon turntable, I don't think it's for new electronics. Then I tried a Victrola turntable and an old Sony amp, the difference was noticeable, more amplified sound, more foundation. The tubes are a soft blue which gives a retro look to my Victrola and an old Sony amp.
