I bought this brush to remove forge scale on my forge work. It looks decently done, although it has a few wavy tufts of bristles. The bristles are flat and sharp enough to gouge wood, allowing an abrasive cut to be easily removed from a piece of wood. , bent and screwed to the brush after pre-drilling the wood to keep it from splitting. Not much to say in use, it does the job of smoothing my rough lumber and removing rust and forge scale from the metal. The size is good, not so big that you can't put it to good use, but also not so small that you can take it with you forever. This is the handleless version used by blacksmiths on YouTube.
