I don't understand why these rings haven't been reviewed yet so I'll probably be the first. I ordered these rings as a pair, male and female. for me and my friend. Rewinding the time to about 5 months ago, the rings arrived very shiny and very beautiful. They are very strong and very thick, they are definitely not easy to break. 2 months after purchase I noticed scratches on the ring and a piece of white gold ripped off my friend's bracelet. 5 months after purchase my friend's ring is 80% orange due to white gold wear and mine ring is starting to turn 50% orange. We are very careful with these rings; We don't let him touch water any longer than washing our hands, we don't take him to the pool or the sea, and we don't even sleep with him. It appears to be COPPER (the cheapest metal for jewelry, btw) with white gold plating. I am very sensitive and allergic to certain alloys such as copper and nickel. As a result I can no longer wear this ring and my friend's ring looks very ugly as it is now a tarnished piece of copper with very little white gold plating. My friend decided based on my reaction gifting me a solid white gold diamond ring (NOT white gold plated there is a big difference) that will replace this ring and I bought him a very durable tungsten ring with carbon fiber inserts to replace his ring. I think you'll get it What are you paying for with this ring? I was hoping they would last at least a year but they didn't even last 6 months.
