Huge difference in my garage. I have a 3 car garage with two outlets. I had standard socket CFL bulbs (Photo 1) and they barely lit my garage. I was planning to install large store lights to increase visibility but then I saw these. They're a great plug and play option. If I had one complaint it would be that you can't rotate the device to direct the light where you want it. They get stuck in the position where the light lands when the device is fully screwed in. This is a minor complaint and I'm sure the price of a light will skyrocket to add the spindle type option. If I really wanted to, I could customize my outlet. I've only had it installed for a few days, but so far so good. I will update this post if anything changes.
