Reading the reviews here it seems that Revain has combined reviews of two different products from the same manufacturer. I have several of the two products shown in the photos. I've read that some people complain that the product doesn't plug securely into the outlet. We don't have this problem. As shown in photo #1, there is no gap between the surge protector and the outlet. We attached the device to the wall socket with the supplied long screw. BUT, you should be aware of how these things work. It is attached to the wall socket with this screw, and the wall socket must be firmly connected to the switch box in which it is located. If you removed the wall outlet cover and there is play in the outlet itself, tighten it. Then place the cover and surge protector on the outlet and insert the long screw through them into the outlet. The more firmly the socket is installed in the socket, the more stable the overvoltage protection and socket cover are. Another product is shown in photo #2. I bought this product on purpose because it only uses one fork, not two. As you can see in the last photo, this single outlet is on the side of the kitchen island, so I needed an extender to provide more outlets than a single plug. This unit has NO screw to attach it to the outlet behind it, so yes you have to be careful when unplugging devices from it or you could pull it out of the outlet. On the other hand, this surge protector is rotatable, so you can rotate it 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise to be horizontal, and you can even rotate it a full 180 degrees to be vertical with USB ports. down to the floor. Why would anyone do that? When these USB ports are not in use, they can collect dust if they face up. Each of these surge protectors work well and have their own pros and cons. So before you decide on one, find out how you will use it, where you will use it and then make your purchasing decision. The former works well for countertop use - the photo shows one in our bathroom next to the vanity. The phone sits pretty well on the holder. A second surge protector works well on our kitchen countertop - we have one at each end of the counter - and we bought an extra one to keep in our holdall for when we get to the hotel and realize they're running low on supplies.
