You need this if your car has a keyless remote.
I bought this for my keyless remote because thieves used the signal booster to break into my car. This works great to block the signal. I put the key fob in my pocket and the car won't open when I'm standing next to it. The hardest part is putting the keys in my pocket as soon as I get home. Better to keep them in the freezer. I recommend this product to anyone with a remote keyless entry as a thief with a signal booster can easily access your car at any time. You must use it consistently for both keychains.
