This replacement part works as intended. If installed correctly, there should be no problems at all. If you're buying a machine part, chances are you have a basic understanding of how to repair dryers. You'll need to do a little research to find the exact part you need. IF you are sure this is the kit you want and know what you are doing (watch the online video!) then you are done. I really needed a little help putting the dryer back together after the renovation. The belt was a bit difficult to put on the drum and the pulley was stiff. However, this applies to every belt on every dryer. TL:DR - Does the job perfectly IF installed correctly. I am by no means a mechanic. An ordinary housewife who couldn't afford a new dryer.
