[EDIT] This cable was very good while it lasted, I take very good care of my cables and keep them in an empty drawer. I would say I have used this cable a number of times since purchasing this item which was back in August. It wasn't daily use but once or twice a month I would say. The cable stopped working today and the sound only came out from one side. I checked if it was the cable or my device. It was definitely the cable as my other shorter headphone jack worked fine. Anyway, as far as the cable's sturdy construction goes, it died very quickly with little use. :/ I've had this cable for about a month now and it's still holding up very well. The cable ended up being a lot thicker than I initially thought, so it felt really solid compared to the cable on my current headphones. I play rhythm games so it's very convenient and very accessible.
