These shoes are much narrower than previous versions. I only wear Asics for training, including running. Since they are much narrower than the others, they are not as comfortable. I thought they were very similar to the Kayano 21 but they are very different. I will be buying another pair of Kayano 21 (light show). These shoes offer great support without being stiff. I wore these shoes for 6 hours or more and my feet hurt a lot afterwards, although I wore them many times to make sure they were stretched. I can easily run/walk long distances (over 21 km) with the Kayano 21. I would not buy these shoes again.
