This is half my fault, half the crappy Q&A above. I had to keep scrolling and reading the reviews/seeing more pics. It is not. IS NOT. IN ANY CASE. HARD OR HARD. I don't understand why the manufacturer keeps saying it's hard or tough. It is not. That's half a notch higher than a typical rubber mouse pad, with the barely perceptible resistance of a layer of slightly harder, paper-thick rubber. It flops, flexes, NOT hard and NOT hard plastic. I want to say that ten more times because the only reason I bought it was because I felt like it was HARD plastic and HARD. It is not. Again, this is a SOFT, flexible mouse pad with a slightly less flexible, wafer-thin layer of rubber attached to it to prevent slipping, it does NOT feel HARD or RIGID.
