Given the specs you get with this computer, it's worth the price. The display (when working properly) is amazing and can be as bright as you want it to be. Movies look good, programs look good, pictures look good, etc. The display is the only issue I had and I'll explain later. some more advanced programs via VPN. I like the touchpad with numbers, but having to look at it makes it difficult to use it the way I want. This speeds things up when you're typing a lot of numbers, but it's not the same as a physical keyboard and can take longer than just using the numbers over the letter keys. It has a backlit keyboard and it took me a minute to find (F7). You can even adjust the brightness, which is a really nice feature. Taking screenshots is very easy with the F11 key. Microsoft has made some nice changes to its apps like Mail, OneDrive, and Your Phone that help make it easier for your computer and phone to interact. The weight and size are perfect for what I need and I'm very happy with it. The named keyboard is good, although the edges are sharp and can dig into your pants. In general, I'm happy with the computer itself, but I was disappointed in one thing. CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE! ASUS doesn't have a phone number to call, so everything is handled via chat or email and takes days to resolve. I was having issues with a program incompatibility that was causing the screen to flicker heavily. They didn't offer any help other than I sent them my computer and they were without it for over a week. I uninstalled the program and that fixed it, but I was disappointed that I couldn't get more help. I've also updated many graphics drivers, did a factory reset twice, and removed anything that might be causing this. Secondly, a grid randomly appeared on the screen, which was blocked for about 1-2 minutes and then returned to normal. Again, the only solution they offered was to send it to them and go without it for a week. Not something I wanted to do for minor inconveniences, but I feel like I have a ticking time bomb in my hands and need to find a week when I don't need it before the warranty expires. It could either be a graphics driver issue or a Windows 10 issue, but the fact that Asus didn't provide a bit more help or better resolutions was very frustrating.
