Very thin, transparent material.
First of all there was an odd warning on the packaging that the pants were not to be worn as pajamas or for lounging around. Second, the pants are made of very thin material and are very transparent. I bought 2T and they are true to size. We use them at home as playwear, but we don't wear them.
