Great quality and perfect fit. Provides good protection for my MacBook Pro. I used to have a more expensive brand and was skeptical about ordering these but wanted to give it a try as the price was less than half compared to another brand so I ordered two of these, one black and one clear. They both go really well together and the black makes my Mac more unique. When I wear the Clear you don't even notice that it has a hard shell, it has a fine rough surface, much nicer than my old shiny one as every little scratch is visible on the shiny surface. The bottom sink snaps easily into place, but with the top tray, it was difficult at first to tell which end was up, although if you look closely there's an arrow on the corner indicating top. The case comes with a silicone keyboard protector which is not very helpful as the edges of the keys have hard edges. If you type a lot it will be annoying as 2 or 3 of each letter in a word will be missing unless you press the keys hard to make sure they are pressed. I leave the keyboard open when I'm surfing, doing social media, graphics, or photos that don't require much typing, but I take it off when I'm typing a letter or lengthy correspondence. However, it looks great and it's hard to tell if the keyboard comes with a protective film as the keycaps are black with crisp white lettering and match the MacBook keys just like the photos. Overall I am very happy with the purchase
