Review on 🚽 Bemis Independence R85300ARM 000 Elevated Toilet Seat by Michael Willis

I would give this more than five stars if I could! My husband is disabled with long legs and used an ugly plastic dresser for a long time. This provided the required height but left a 6 inch clearance between the seat and the bowl - you can imagine the problems with that. the risers looked ugly and couldn't be cleaned without unscrewing the mounting screws etc. I finally stumbled across BEMIS and read all the great reviews. The one from the occupational therapist who stressed the safety of the seat/armrest was the one who sealed the deal. I bought BEMIS and installed it myself (follow the instructions closely and it's easy). Husband loves it - very comfortable, no spills, super solid construction. It's so easy to clean. I also like the optics. Unfortunately the seat was still too low. We then bought a Toilevator (also available from Revain) and had a plumber install it. Voila! Check out the end result when you combine the two! Now we've added 7" of height and it's a lot easier to sit and stand up. Very, very satisfied. Business doesn't have to be stressful!
