Review on 🔌 Temco 450 Amps DC Winch Motor Reversing Solenoid Relay Switch - 12 Volt Contactor: Enhance Your Winching Power by David Forleo

I have a 3500 lb Harbor Freight ATV winch installed on my trailer as a recovery winch. The HF relay stuck the first time I tried to tow something heavy on a trailer. I was determined to find a relay that could handle the power of any winch I planned to install in the future. TEMCo has a 250 amp unit that would probably do, but I bought a 450 amp unit. it rattled as if something inside had come loose. Emails from TEMCo assured me the rattling was normal and I checked the unit and it was fine. TEMCo sends the missing screw, but I have some from the HF unit. Plugged in and it works great. I still use an HF winch motor but will likely upgrade to a 9,000lb or 12,000lb winch in the future. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the device didn't come with any instructions. In my case, all I had to do was drill out the RF wire terminals for the larger terminals, make a longer ground on the common bar, and connect everything to this new relay.
