This set is very flattering and just like the picture. For reference I’m 5’9” and wear a size 8/10 in jeans, 38B and I ordered the large. It’s high waisted, like an inch above my belly button and very fitted but doesn’t smash your booty. The top is really snug and the bottom of the shorts digs in a little into my thigh, but it’s not uncomfortable. All in all, I would get this set in other colors.
