This is a handy meat thermometer. easy to use: plug and the temperature will be displayed in a few seconds; easy to read: large, easy-to-read display; Easy to Clean: Simply wipe the probe with your favorite cleaner and store away. Easy storage: The sensor folds like a pocket knife on the side of the thermometer body. Just put it in your pocket. Comes with a spare battery, magnetized back and external wired probe for "remote control" e.g. B. through the oven door. It seems accurate although I haven't tested it. One thing I noticed and find disheartening is that the temperature displayed tends to oscillate from high to low as you read. I don't understand this, but have not attempted to determine the circumstances that caused it. Overall, for the above price and features, this is a worthwhile investment.
