I ALWAYS buy Apple cables direct from Apple. This is the first time I've tried a non-Apple brand cable. Huge mistake. Stopped working after a month. If I shake and hold it, the green flash will light up indicating it's charging. As soon as I let go, charging stops. It was plugged into my bedside table and I have other cords so I probably used it about 4 times a week. It stayed in the same place. just trash. Yes, the 3ft Apple charging cable is expensive at 7pm, but it was around 2pm and it worked for a couple of weeks. I've never had an Apple cable that died. Even the ones over ten years old. Save your money and just buy directly from Apple. And be careful, they pay for reviews. Anytime a photo is attached to a product that is just a string, it is a paid review.
