Review on 🚿 KOHLER K-10282-AK-CP Forte 2.5 GPM Single-Function Wall-Mount Showerhead, Enhanced with Katalyst Spray, in Polished Chrome by Mark Bearden

I rarely write reviews but wanted to help those who are looking at this shower head. The device works well and delivers an evenly wide jet with a light, comfortable amount of water. Print. Keep in mind that this may vary in reviews depending on individual subjectivity (and the amount of pressure your shower is putting out; see #2 below), but it's by no means strong. I would describe it as slightly more powerful than the attached rain shower head. In my opinion, not invigorating as described, but pleasant, light pressure.1. If you are lucky enough to have chrome fittings or don't care about color matching, stop reading this, find and buy a three setting version of the Older Forte. This is a similar design found on the Holiday Inn Express chains and in my opinion it delivers more water pressure in the ideal amount.2. Restricting the water when removing the device resulted in a slight improvement in the pressure. To remove, I carefully pulled out the rubber grommet with the mesh with pliers, drilled out the center of the green restricting insert with a dremel, and also removed the green plastic from one edge of the green insert and pulled out the rest with pliers. Be careful with the threads and don't worry about the green plastic part - it will all come out. Clean, reinsert seal with strainer, install. You may have a better way, but it only took me a few minutes without damaging/leaking any threads.
