Ok, first I think it's reliable but its handle is too bulky and big and the blade is too small and not very sharp I could touched it a lot with his finger on the edge and it didn't cut anything more when i got it, it had all the stains on it and where metal and wood meet in person i don't think it's worth 30 bucks more than 10 15 bucks you should better get one of the Gerber hatchets or a melee machete or a kukri
