I have been trying every sippy cup and straw cup out there trying to keep my 1.5 year old from coating every surface in the house with milk. He easily pulled the top off of this and dumped it. My 4 yr old lives the cups though. They are easy to clean. A little hard to get the top on snugly. It doesn't spill when my older kid has it, but if the little guy didn't pull the cap off, he would have probably banged it around until milk came out. I haven't seen the volcano action yet that happens with other spill proof straw cups, so that's a plus.
