The Place Where Quality and Disappointment Meet: HaWare

As the product manager for our company, I am always looking for exciting new brands that we can introduce into our retail locations. To our great regret, HaWare is not counted among them. At first glimpse, their selection of home and kitchen products appears to be quite extensive; however, the quality of these items is extremely poor. Even though the stainless steel mixing bowls have a pleasant appearance, they are incredibly easy to dent and warp in the dishwasher. And don't even get me started on the silicone baking mats, which impart both a strange flavor and odor to the baked products I make. Just don't. Their kitchen and dining portion is stocked with fashionable items, but the majority of those items are not very functional. The adorable patterned plates may be deserving of being posted on Instagram, but they are prone to chipping and cannot withstand even the slightest amount of heat. Regarding the eating and entertaining section of their website, the elegant cutlery set may have a classy appearance, but the knives are dull and the forks are prone to bending. That's probably not the kind of impression you want to make on the people you invited to supper. The user experience on their website was extremely frustrating, with slow loading speeds and unclear categorization of content. In addition, when my order did eventually arrive, it was incomplete, and the customer support representatives were of little assistance in resolving the issue. In general, HaWare is not a brand that I would recommend to anyone searching for high-quality cooking and dining products. Avoid being disappointed by going shopping somewhere else instead.

Pros
  • Their goods use high-quality components.
Cons
  • There are some products that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
