Review on Miady 50AMP Replacement Unplug Design by Lex Ismael

The instructions were pretty decent: they explained exactly how short the main sheathing option is, each individual wire and the sheathing for each wire . However, the design is pretty crappy - first you have to insert the ground wire and press it against the back of the plug, then put the other 3 wires over it. The neutral wire in particular is quite short and was difficult to connect. I suggest connecting ground first, then neutral, then 2 pins. Nevertheless I bet everything. The final step was to connect the strain relief clamp and assemble the plastic case. One of the screw holes in the strain relief clamp is broken. The plastic failed and the screw just popped the case all the way out (see photos showing the broken side versus the working side). I tried contacting Miady (no contact details) and then tried to order a replacement but the product was completely gone. from the Revain website. Sold out, just disappeared from the site. Came back and try Camco. Inside it looks a little less disappointing.
