I bought this for my 8TB RAID0 system. I chose this one because my Alienware 17 has a Thunderbolt 3 port and I want this port to work without an additional power adapter, but I couldn't get one. 200 Mbit/s if I put two 4TB Seagate hard drives, the potential speed is more for SSD raidcons: wrong guide to choose the working model, fan not working properly, temperature reaches 60C when you use several Scanning for hours, pretty low speed for internal transmission, only about 40-50m/s, that's how it's wired. Price is much higher than USB 3.0 model
