Cute and functional! The best of the kitchen and dining room

Very cute! I bought a white set and it looks great in my kitchen. I love that the white coating on the handle actually gives it a bit of traction, so there's minimal to zero chance of dishes falling out of my hand in the kitchen. The only thing that confuses me is that the kitchen part of the dishes gets dirty pretty easily. I've only used some of these a few times and there is already yellow discoloration. They also don't do well for table setting, as they look straight and awkward on a plate. Otherwise recommended for aesthetics and functionality. I especially like the corner spoon! 10/21/19: Edit to add that the yellow discoloration is more or less gone and could be the result of ground turmeric (this substance stains EVERYTHING). Looks worn but not bad. This set has become my favorite, replacing my bamboo kitchen utensils. The thin round handle is comfortable for little hands, it's very light and I'm consistently impressed that the white finish didn't crack, fade or otherwise suffer when I leaned on the rim of the pot. It's very easy to clean. There are slight scratches on the cooking edges, some wood fibers have come loose. This can be a problem for some people, and those people may prefer to have the cooking edges "sealed" or otherwise varnished to prevent fraying. I have limited knowledge of such things, but personally I'd be more cautious about chipping or plating or paint residue getting into my food. I'd rather accidentally swallow pieces of wood than an unidentified chemical. I use this cookware at least 3 times a week and feel comfortable changing my rating to a 5.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
