My last triple wallet - the leather and nylon version in woodland camouflage - easily lasted 20 years, but it ended up getting too worn out and too susceptible to RFID that it can be saved. As RIFD snoopers become more ubiquitous, it seemed only logical to replace the venerable old camouflage t-shirt with something newer, better able to disrupt a passing snooper being served by one of my assistants at the grocery store or elsewhere becomes. I liked the look of it, especially the leather components. RFID protection doesn't come naturally - it has to be sewn between layers of leather and nylon, but credit cards are stuffed deep enough into pockets where the chips are completely covered and need to be protected from prying snoopers. The wallet only has 4 dedicated card slots, so I had to forgo a few non-transactional cards that I usually carry with me to avoid filling the only bill slot with cards. The leather accents on the wallet's outer shell have already darkened to a rich maroon, which is nice enough, while the inner leather remains significantly lighter. I hope to wear this wallet as long as its predecessor.
