I bought this blender specifically to try French Onion Soup. SAKI was attached to a 5 liter pot. I then added four baseball-sized chopped yellow onions along with a chopped knob of butter and some red wine. After setting the temperature to 210 degrees, I turned on the stirrer. He had enough strength to handle that load of bows. About every 20 minutes I would drop in the saucepan with a wooden spoon to stir from top to bottom while the onions cooked. The SAKI stirrer worked great. Very easy to clean. This device will be used in my kitchen.
