I bought this model because it was as close as possible to an old favorite cradle I once had. I'm still getting used to the spring clip and not sure if the flexible rubber edges will hold up. However, so far it has worked flawlessly. The two different sized mounting plates are great. I used the small one because I knew I could switch to the HD version if the mini tablet didn't fit. Again, so far so good! The key to making them stick to your dashboard is to keep the dashboard surface as clean as possible - no dirt or protective residue will be left on it.
