This little used occasional unit lasted 1 year and 7 months before being sent to landfill. Before I went to work I laid out a batch of beans to slow cook and when I got home 9 hours later I found the heating element was broken and the beans were still uncooked. For comparison, my last Rival slow cooker lasted over 10 years.
