*EDIT*- 13 uploads are servicing the 53 minute filter and failing the last 1/4 inch. Count the number of uploads to compare with the reminder filter and watch the flow Twice I've followed the instructions to slow down the filtration with no noticeable effect affects the filter functionality.*END EDIT*Right now I'm very happy, to switch to a lead reduction filter from PΕ«r! Flavor and mouthfeel is a HUGE change from the tap and previous filter. I've been using the Brita jug system on decent city water for 10 years - up until January 2020. I moved into a small apartment complex in January which supplies, controls and cleans its own well water π This h20 is always a little dirty with sand particles and other Yes, it's the color of a beer. Also, I live 6/10 miles from a military training ground. (For over 50 years lead projectiles were seeping into the ground and into the water) Having recently read an h20 quality report for this area, it was clear that I NEEDed lead filtration. Reviews of Brita Longlast filters did not inspire ZERO confidence. Eight hours of filter mug research later, I confidently chose PΕ«r. This particular PΕ«r filter takes about 20 minutes to filter 10 cups and I am perfectly happy with it as the water quality has improved significantly. I just hope it doesn't slow down much!
