I bought this cage for a rabbit but tried it on a litter box first. The reason I bought it was narrow and smaller. The tray in a rabbit cage is much smaller, so a wide scoop won't work properly. It was the only narrow shovel I could find. First I tried it on a litter box. I noticed two things. 1) The bag drags waste into the drawer 2) If you're using it as a deep litter box, you have to pick it up, which causes what you've already packed to fall back out. I tried various ways to pick up and hold the bag but it just kept coming out. If you are using it for a small animal, rabbit, ferret, etc. this will work as these trays tend to be smaller and more even. Drawing is easy. Not recommended for cats.
