I took it to Disney and it fits in my 32 ounce water bottle, wallet, sunscreen, sunglasses and portable charger. It has so many pockets! 1 on the back which I used for my phone, 2 on the sides which I don't think are big enough for a water bottle but I used them to put my mask and phone on when I need them for a couple Minutes had to file log. There is a decent sized front pocket, the main pocket is good and it has a non-zipped pocket that fits an iPad (tight but fits and can close a backpack). And a small zipped pocket on the back (good for some spare pads or tampons or a hidden pocket for money) and then there are 2 pen compartments and 2 decent little unzipped pockets that I put some sunscreen and my sunglasses in. I also did a boat trip where a big splash fell right on my backpack but everything stayed dry inside 👍🏼
