Review on Bluetooth headset Plantronics Voyager Legend, black by Mateusz Szlassa ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Did not find any pluses with the product, I don't recommend it.

I chose for a long time whether to take Plantronics Voyager Legend or Plantronics Voyager 5200 or Jabra Stealth. Based on the reviews, I decided to take Legend and lost. I returned it to the store, now I'm ordering 5200. I think that a headset for 100 euros should sound much better than a phone microphone, and not at the same level or near it. About the shortcomings above, I can add that maybe the reason lies in the ated firmware. My headset was released in March 2022, according to the software ate program, I have the latest firmware. Maybe earlier proshki were better. And about disconnections, maybe because of the outdated Bluetooth 3.0, the 5200 has version 4.1.

Pros
  • 1. Excellent ergonomics. It does not press on the ear, it is practically not felt. Holds tightly, does not fall out, even if you sneeze well. You can walk all day. 2. The materials are pleasant. Looks solid and good.
Cons
  • 1. In the reviews they write that the sound (transmission of your voice to the interlocutor) is simply magnificent, better than that of the 5200. I did not notice this, they told me that they could hear me quietly, they could not hear because of the wind or cars. With a friend, they arranged a comparative test drive in the office, he has a Jabra Evolve Headset. They took turns banging on the table, snapping their fingers at the microphone. As a result, I heard his "noises" very quietly, in the distance, and he heard mine very clearly. 2. The interlocutor is heard so loudly and loudly that you have to turn the volume down to a minimum. And even then, it doesn't always help. 3. Periodically falls off the phone. Terribly infuriates when you sit in the office with a headset, a call comes in and the phone itself rings, and not the headset. You reflexively accept the call and hear the voice of the interlocutor from the speaker of the phone, and not the headset, and the fuss begins with removing the headset / picking up the phone, etc. 4. I have built-in Bluetooth in my car, if you turn on the car and at the same time talk on the headset, it immediately falls off and it is no longer possible to redirect the signal back, just turn off / on the headset. 5. Voice control is a toy. Only "call back" and "battery power" used. The question is, why can't you dictate a phone number or a name and call him? Why is it not possible to voice WhatsApp messages?
