We recently moved into a home that has mostly wood floors. Before moving I ordered two packs of these pads. I told the movers in advance that I would like to put them on any heavy furniture before it was installed and they were very helpful in making sure I did. Since then, I've moved triple dressers, heavy sofas, king beds, and anything else you can think of with ease. Our computer desk and TV cabinet have been moved many times and there are no marks on the floor. Each piece of furniture slides easily enough for one person to move, although for larger items it helps to have two. We strongly recommend having them handy before moving.
