Excited when it arrived. Spend many hours before you decide to do it. SO disappointed when I opened the package to find the top left hook (which allows for hanging in the cage) had broken off during shipping! An attempt to glue it with superglue was unsuccessful. Everything turned out to be fine, as it is much easier to access the empty tray installed on the outside of the cage. My pigeons are still not sure what to do about it. They will find out when they are hungry enough. This will certainly help eliminate the mess they used to dig for food in a regular open feeder. A suggestion: Only comes with (1) mounting hole on the outside of the cage. Two are necessary so that not all cage doors go up/down and not right/left. With one in the middle, the feeder can rotate no matter how tight you tighten the wing nut. Would recommend different packaging for shipping (cardboard box, not a padded envelope).
